I have slept and rested and played and shoveled snow...

Some of the things I played with on vacation:

Yes --both voices are mine... playing with a program on my computer that allows me to do stuff like that!

And this one, which we sing at funerals --"wanikiya," meaning the "one who gives his life for the sake of the people" --yes, to the music of Asleep in Christ, but the words change the meaning so very much...

--and, I've begun to organize some writings, because if I don't, I will never know what might be possible, if you know what I mean.

--and, I have slept and rested and played and shoveled snow and got a massage...

I think I am ready to begin again --thanks be to God!

At prayer this morning (Canticle: A Song to the Lamb, Dignus es, Revelation 4:11, 5:9-10, 13)

Splendor and honor and kingly power *
are yours by right, O Lord our God,
For you created everything that is, *
and by your will they were created and have their being;
And yours by right, O Lamb that was slain, *
for with your blood you have redeemed for God,
From every family, language, people, and nation, *
a kingdom of priests to serve our God.
And so, to him who sits upon the throne, *
and to Christ the Lamb,
Be worship and praise, dominion and splendor, *
for ever and for evermore.
Off I go!
